tendonitis

Sorry about the lack of posts. I've got tendonitis in both elbows that I'm trying to rest and heal from and everything aggravates it. Sigh.

I've done 2 illo's on spec recently. I didn't get the job for the one below but I'm waiting on the other. Because of tendonitis, I was relieved not to get the job. But I do like how the illo turned out.

Bummer about the tendonitis. I hope you heal up quickly. The illustration looks good even if it was painful to draw.

I'm so sorry about the tendonitis. Oh sweetie. Take care of yourself and get that much needed rest. I came by just to see what you had been up too and how everything was going since our last conversation.
I know that good things are on their way to your house and healing with them so that you can do what's in your heart and spirit. Take care. BTW what a wonderful picture!!! It's a beautiful illustration.

Wow, your art work looks wonderful! So many great pieces on your blog!:-)

Boy do I understand what you're going through with tendonitis - I developed that in my wrist and had to stop drawing, typing, everything for over six months. I went to doctors, did the physical therapy with no relief. It just takes some time of not using the tendon - oh, and switching back and forth between heat and ice several times a day on my own really sped things up. During that time I taught myself to draw with my left hand to keep up with work lol. I practiced drawing cartoons out of Walt Disney books, then slowly learned to paint too. Anyways, sorry to hear you're struggling with it - try checking some books out at the library on the subject too, I found those very helpful. Take care.
