For as long as I can remember, I have loved to observe. Raindrops plunking, leaves crunching beneath my feet, flowers emerging, people moving, interacting . . . I love to look at the world through artist/writer eyes, and then I find great satisfaction recreating what I see and feel onto paper. The more I draw, the more I love it and think this is what I want to do!

These days, I sketch 15-20 minutes every weekday. To keep myself rounded, I follow this schedule:

Monday - children
Tuesday - animals
Wednesday - hands
Thursday - adults
Friday - landscapes/random objects

Today I chose the adult above to sketch.
