What a friend!

Giraffes seem like they'd be so kind and friendly if they could talk. Thanks to this giraffe, our mouse traveler can get the directions he's been looking for (or maybe it's a she? I didn't quite make up my mind).

I just finished this. My son has a couple girls who think he's pretty cool (probably because his favorite color is pink) and I drew this while thinking of them.

Elephant Reader

I did this elephant a while back in color (you may have seen it). I liked the idea, but I didn't like the finished product. Since I've been needing more black and white and animal pieces, I decided to redo this one. I also made him more realistic. I'm much happier with the way he turned out.

Today I sent out packets of my art samples with the hope of trying to get an agent. Who knows what'll happen, but I certainly hope one of the five will like my work. At the present I feel that I would go much further with an agent than without one. We'll see . . .
